Falcon Road Bridge NLA Award Shortlisting
We’re excited to share more good news for Falcon Road Bridge, which has also been shortlisted for a New London Architecture Award 2026 in the Public Spaces category! We’re incredibly proud to see the project receive further recognition for its contribution to London’s placemaking.
Following our London Festival of Architecture competition win, our team worked with the Wandsworth community to rethink one of Clapham Junction’s most overlooked spaces.
At the heart of the project is a belief that public space should feel rooted in the people who use it. Through co-design and close collaboration, our team built local stories and identity into the fabric of the scheme, giving new life to an important piece of existing infrastructure. Together, we turned a dark and unwelcoming underpass into a safer, greener and more characterful public route, bringing together public art, lighting and planting.
We’re delighted to see that approach recognised by NLA, and grateful to everyone who helped make the project possible: London Borough of Wandsworth, GPAD, POoR Collective, MRG Studio, Smiling Wolf, Sutton Vane Associates, AJ Wells, Cundall, MDA Consulting, Network Rail and the Community of Wandsworth.
