The front elevation will obtain a new façade framed with brick and saw-tooth profiled wet cast stone panels to help bring a brighter more playful front elevation. A revamped reception using natural materials with timber flooring, exposed brick, and concrete finishing to give off a sleek but rustic aesthetic. A new retail unit on the ground level aims to give back to the street and enhance the building's interaction with the street.

The open floorplate design creates flexible workspaces has touch-free entry points and thermal comfort with improved natural ventilation. Two new floors result in a total of 3,000sqm of additional floorspace over eight storeys. The additional floorspace has been developed in the rear of the building to minimise overlooking.

By working towards improving the buildings life cycle carbon emissions, the design will introduce integrated solar panels amongst the green roof and will utilise brise soleil on the south elevation to reduce heat gain. The existing structure will be retained where possible, saving on embodied carbon with all new glazing being designed so that it can be replaced internally without the need for scaffolding. These sustainability techniques and more have been implemented to maximise the buildings predicted design life and reduce the need for further future development.

End of journey facilities have been upgrade to include showers/lockers along with a drinks fountain and cycle repair station. The rooftop design will include wildlife planting and bird boxes to encourage biodiversity on the building as well as creating a beneficial environment for biophilia and social interaction.
