We would like to announce that GPAD’s Chairman and founder, Chris Ploutarhou, is retiring. Chris started GPAD in 2002 and has been a pioneer in the practice’s ethos of a people focused approach, responsible for many of the friendships that GPAD has established with clients and partners.

Green Lanes progress
We’re making progress on our Green Lanes project, which will see the refurbishment and extension of a historic locally listed public house in Haringey. The original building will provide nine flats, with a new building at the rear providing an additional six homes.

Kingsway Place transformed into elegant new home
Our refurbishment of Kingsway Place in Clerkenwell, London has completed. Originally the cookery and laundry teaching facility of a nearby Victorian school, the building had been converted into two flats, which we have connected to form one spacious house.

Clerkenwell Green receives planning approval
GPAD’s proposal for the redevelopment of 2-7 Clerkenwell Green, Islington has received planning permission. Our design is for a contemporary warehouse with a brick frontage and copper-clad mansard roof, sensitive to the conservation area.

Planning consent secured for new commercial building in Islington
