Planning Granted for 45 Great Marlborough Street

We’ve been granted planning permission from Westminster City Council to refurbish 45 Great Marlborough Street for Royal London Asset Management, creating a new restaurant in Soho!

Our focus is on the ground and basement floors of the 2003 Squire and Partners building. On the street, our designs bring craft and energy to the frontage. We are repositioning the building by enhancing its street presence and adding planting to the public realm. A bronze shopfront picks up the tone of the building’s existing windows and sits alongside the Portland stone, and a planter runs the full width of the facade.

Internally, the designs extend the floor plate to create 25% additional area and introduce a new timber grid framed atrium to draw daylight into the double-height dining space.

We’re now moving into Stage 4 detailed design.

Planning consent secured for new commercial building in Islington

GPAD have secured planning approval for the development of a new high quality commercial building at 10-14 White Lion Street in Islington. When the 6,440sqm of office space development is completed it will provide a third of Islington’s annual new office space target.

Planning Approval for the remodelling of the façade at 149 – 151 Oxford Street.

The design will enhance the retail frontage and improve the street presence, while concurrently working towards decarbonising the retail space.

Wittering House secures top prize at Evening Standard New Home Awards
